Museum trip- 2025

On a cold, Thursday morning I got up and got ready because we were going to the museum. I was so excited that we were going to the museum because I love learning new things, looking at stuff, and I could even learn about volcanoes which I like to learn about. So, first I arrived to school and we had to pick one bag and put three peoples lunches inside one bag, (we all used my bag). Next miss v then did ther roll to make sure everybody was here, then we all lined up walking to the bus to go to the museum. After that we arrived tothe aukland museum we went around and we went into this room called ‘”the weird and wonderful” it was full of weird stuff but most of the stuff was really awsome and wonderful, then we into this room where we learn about volcanoes. we learn about the volcanoes that were erupting like rangitoto and even like seeing a animation of a volcano rising up from the ocean. it was really cool and I really liked the room. one thing that I really liked about the room was when we got to feel a lava rock that came from a volcano eruption. my favorite lava rock was the “obsiden”, I really liked obsiden bevuase it was soft and smooth and also and a nice colour of black. so, that’s why I like obsiden. I also liked this lava rock and it was called “pumice” I really liked pumice because of its unique looks and it wasn’t really heavy it was really light from the hole that was inside the inside air of pumice come out from those little holes and thats how pumice was really light it could also float on water as well for some reason. after that fun creating stuff we went into this room called the origins it was filled with different kinds of stones and gems also even like cyrstals and dinosaurs bones. one thing that I only like about in there was that we saw the African elephant. it looks like the normal fine elephant but that elephant that we saw was the Africans elephant that’s why its name is the African elephant. thank you for reading my time that I saw at the aukland museum I hope you have a good day please please a positive comment on my blog.
