Today we were learning abou the treaty of waitangi. we had to pick a person from the person who was part of the treaty and who also signed the treaty. I picked henry williams,Henry williams was born on the 11th of February in 1792 and passed away on the 16th of July in 1867. then we had to what iwi/community about the person they choosed , and see what role sis their person did in the treaty and what was there persons part in the treaty also some funfacts so we coyld all learn some funfacts about our person from the treaty of waitangi.
SLJ Treasure Map
Today for the summer learning jorney I drew a treasure map.
First I traced out a picture from Google and it kinda took a while.
Next I coloured it with my markers i liked my treasure map after I coloured it.
After that i used a tea bag and wet it in cold water. After that I pat the tea bag all over my treasure map and then I let it dry for 2 minutes.
Finally when it was dried I scrund up my treasure map so that it can look old. When I finished doing that I took a photo and post it on my blog. I hope you like my treasure map.
